FAQs About Our Online Learning Platform

I don’t need content just an online learning platform. Can I have that?

Yes you can. Our bespoke training platform can integrate with all types of content that you’ve created yourself or leased from other elearning providers – SCORM and non SCORM. You don’t need to have our content on the platform, although you can select as much or as little as you need.

After you have uploaded your own content onto the platform you will be able to create personal learning journeys as well as allowing self-directed learning. It’s really simple to use.

Can the Skillshub online learning platform integrate with other systems?

Can your online learning platform be customised to my needs?

Yes it can. We can remove various menu items, or add some new ones in for you. For instance, some of our clients remove the ‘Explore’ section which means that users can only create their own learning journeys with no self-directed learning.

Plus, if you have any functionality that you would specifically like we can develop it for you. For example, one client wanted Skillshub to perform a task that was unique to them and the way they did business, so we developed that for them and it formed part of their bespoke training platform with Skillshub.

Can our Learning and Development (L&D) department create learning journeys for our staff?

Yes they can. Your L&D team can create personal learning journeys and then push them to your people through the elearning platform. For example, if you have conducted a training needs analysis you can then select a unique learning journey based on the needs of each person.

The learners line manager can also create learning journeys through the training platform and push them to their people as well.

How long does it take to deploy the online learning platform?

We can go as quickly or as slowly as you need. Got a tight deadline? We’ll make it happen. Need some hand holding? That’s fine too. It also depends on your unique needs. If it was a case of branding your own learning platform, setting up a unique website address, arranging the hosting and uploading all of your staff to the existing content within the system then you could be up and running within 48 hours!

There are lots of variables that you need to think which we will all help you with. But the bottom line is that we’ll go at your pace. You want to get this right.
