Bulloughs Cleaning Services wanted to commission a bespoke eLearning programme to strengthen consistency, capability and understanding across their workforce.

With a long-standing history in the industry and a large operational team, they needed learning that went beyond generic content and reflected:

  • Their mission, vision and values
  • Their ways of working, techniques and expertise
  • The real roles and responsibilities carried out by staff

The learning needed to support both new starters and existing employees, ensuring everyone had access to the same core knowledge, regardless of when or where they joined the organisation.

Their key objectives included:

  • Creating a consistent baseline of knowledge across the workforce
  • Providing role-specific learning, aligned to operational realities
  • Ensuring accurate and consistent information reporting
  • Designing learning that was visually engaging and easy to understand
  • Delivering training in a digital format, reducing reliance on face-to-face delivery

Skillshub worked closely with Bulloughs Cleaning Services to design and develop fully bespoke eLearning content, tailored specifically to their organisation and operational context

The project followed a structured, collaborative design process, ensuring the final learning accurately reflected Bulloughs’ culture, brand and working practices.

This included:

  • An initial design consultation, to define learning outcomes and priorities
  • Script and storyboard creation, ensuring content was clear, logical and engaging
  • Development of professionally produced eLearning, incorporating:
    • Voiceover narration
    • Animation and visual design
    • Interactive elements and knowledge checks
  • A strong focus on user experience, ensuring learning was accessible across devices
  • Iterative feedback, testing and refinement, prior to final delivery

The bespoke eLearning was designed to:

  • Support onboarding and ongoing development
  • Reinforce role-specific knowledge, such as machinery, techniques and fault reporting
  • Ensure learning was consistent, accurate and repeatable across teams
